Donated diapers to patients at Angoda Mental care hospital. Dr. Ishan De Zoysa the Senior Registrar at the hospital was invited as a guest speaker to educate the members on topics of Depression , Dementia etc.

Donation of Equipment for a Playground to Nebadawewa Rural School, Horowpathana, Anuradhapura

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West donated playground equipment to Nebadawewa rural school in Horowpathana, Anuradapura. Story books to the school library, past paper books from grade 6 to 11 for all subjects, exercise books, colour pencils packs were also donated. Milo and chocolates were given to all 165 children.

Installed a water purifier at Kapugollawa Maha Vidyalaya in Horowpathana Anuradhapura to provide clean drinking water to children and teachers in the school. Many children and adults are suffering from kidney diseases in this area due to high content of cadmium and arsenic in the water.
