International Women’s Day The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West donated funds to provide electricity connection to a newly built house of a very poor mother in Horowpathana , Anuradhapura.The breadwinner of this family is the mother who has a small child. Dry rations were also offered to the family.

Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West in collaboration with the staff of Salon Chopping Block, Nugegoda carried out haircuts, manicure and pedicure for 25 inmates of Subodha Ayurvedic Elder’s Home, Ratmalana. The inmates were provided with refreshments.

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West collaborated with District 379 in the Philippines to implement a project that provides a clean drinking water purification system for the village of Alapathwewa in Horowpathana, Anuradhapura. It will benefit 300 families with pure drinking water which includes 160 children
