Marking the International Day of the Girl Child an artificial limb is donated annually to a girl through the Center for Handicapped. The recipient of the limb this year was nine-year-old Dimalshi, who was born with a congenital deformity and who needs her artificial limb replaced each year as she outgrows the previous one.

Marking Inner Wheel Day
Marked International Inner Wheel Day by gifting new and nearly new clothes, materials, curtains, shoes, accessories and sewing and knitting materials to a Girl’s Home near Kandy. A cash donation was also provided for underwear for the girls and 5 kilos of rice were given for their use.
Food for Needy Families
Donated a month’s dry rations to 17 needy families in and around Kandy.
