Celebrated International Women’s Day with the delightful residents at St. Margaret’s Home for Ladies. Starting off with some word games and riddles, the ladies then enjoyed a singalong with pianist Ms. Arosha. More games were played and then the residents really got into the swing of things which saw had them clapping along and even had a few of them dancing to some Sri Lankan classics and old-time English tunes. Gifts of face wash and face cream were sponsored by Hemas and Siddhalepa generously donated a bottle of Asamodagam Spirit for each of the ladies and their helpers. A splendid brunch followed by pudding, ice cream and fruit was enjoyed by all. It was such a blessing to be able to bring some joy and entertainment to the ladies on International Women’s Day.
