Donation to the Sai Hospice in Hanwella

The first project of Heartbeat of Humanity is a joint project between IWC Subang Malaysia and IWC of Colombo Mid Town. Together, they equipped the kitchen of the Sai Hospice in Hanwella with stainless steel pantry units. The District Chairman Srimathy Sebastian – District 322, Sri Lanka & Maldives graced the programme.

Donation of cupboards

Donated 8 cupboards to Hemachandra MV in Weligama.

Eye Camp Conducted for Children at St. Clare’s School

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Mid Town conducted an eye camp at St Clare’s School Wellawatte. Eye testing was done and spectacles were given to selected children.

Donation of milk powder

A needy mother with twins was assisted with NAN milk powder.

Supported the Women’s Development Center

Supported the women at the Women’s Development Center Kandy to manufacture reusable sanitary pads.

Donation towards oxygen concentrator

Made a donation towards oxygen concentrator at Shantha Sevana Palliative Care Center for cancer patients
