The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota was proud to be part of the Clean-up Sri Lanka initiative, joining hands with the Rotary Club of Katugastota, the Rotaractors of the Katugastota Region, and Interactors for a meaningful environmental project.

The project took place at the Polgolla Dam, Kandy, an important landmark and water resource in the region. Unfortunately, like many public spaces, the area had been affected by pollution and improper waste disposal. Recognizing the need for collective action, members from all partnering organizations came together with one goal – to restore the natural beauty of the surroundings and raise awareness on environmental responsibility.
