The Inner Wheel Club of Wattala partnered with the Rotary Club of Kelaniya for a significant humanitarian project to support underprivileged children in the local community.

The Clubs distributed bed kits to children aged 6 to 12 years from 3 schools in the area – Mosquito net, Sleeping mat, Pyjamas, Two T-shirts, Towel, School bag, Umbrella, Shoes, Pillow and pillowcases & Stationery pack.

The project was held at St. John’s Maha Vidyalaya, Mattakkuliya, and brought joy and comfort to the children and their families.

In addition to the bed kits, the Inner Wheel Club provided each child with refreshments.

The project was met with enthusiastic support from the school community and was deemed a tremendous success, reflecting the clubs’ ongoing commitment to service and child welfare.
